Guardian Industries and Atlas Holdings Finalize Sale of SRG Global
Auburn Hills, Mich., April 3, 2025
Atlas Holdings and Guardian Industries signed an agreement in October for an affiliate of Atlas Holdings to acquire SRG Global, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of integrated and functional decorative trim systems for the automotive, mobility, and commercial truck industries. The transaction is now complete after customary closing conditions and regulatory approval.
Merritt Gaunt, Executive Vice President, Guardian Industries, notes that “Guardian is confident that this decision presents great opportunities for SRG Global employees, customers, and suppliers, given the experience of Atlas Holdings investing in Tier 1 automotive supply.”
He adds, “We are grateful to the team for their hard work, as well as their dedication to working safely and creating value for customers throughout this transaction.”
Headquartered in Troy, Michigan, SRG Global manufactures premier automotive components across sites in North America, Western and Central Europe, and Asia. SRG Global will join REHAU Automotive to form RESRG Automotive. Details of the transaction will not be disclosed.
